Dietary Question- Weigh in
March 30th, 2007For those of you who do dietary intervention, tell me what you think of this.
I had taken my son off of things containing phenols and fruit, and took tomato products out of his diet. He seemed better for about 2 weeks but then regressed again, and was as bad as ever. This lasted about a month or more, so in a fit of exhaustion I decided that if he’s out of control anyway I might as well feed him some tomato products, so I made him pizza with rice bread, organic pizza sauce, and organic Rocky chicken dogs on top. He ate it and I waited to see if behaviors got higher and thinking I might have done something dumb, but nothing. I fed him them again for dinner. The next day he was a little better. I figured it didn’t hurt, so i’ll keep feeding him the pizza since he likes it. (I was adding digestive ensymes in it because I can hide it in the sauce. No behaviors, he actually got better and better and is having a good phase now. I’m not saying that pizza caused him to feel better, but do you think I should take it back out now or that it’s ok? hmmm All opinions welcome.
