The difference between AS and HFA
March 30th, 2007What is the core difference between AS and HFA? Is there one? My daughter Abby is four and a half and diagnosed with HFA at one and a half, but she talks, albeit with mild echolalia, loves to be the center of attention, is obsessed with Ariel, and even though she likes to socialize, she isn’t very cognitive of social behavior. Could her autism have changed?
