I really need some advice. I have been homeschooling my son for quite a  while, and I recently contacted our local school district , who says they want to help our son get whatever services he might qualify for. First they said we need to enroll our son in the school district, and they’ll find a way to deal with all the “missed abscenses”. I have no intention of stopping the home instruction , so I am concerned that the first thing I am being told is to enroll my son in their school. I thought the first thing they would do is a child study evaluation.

I would really love some advice from anyone else who is in the situation of homeschooling/recieving services from school. If you would rather email me instead of posting , that’s fine with me! Thanks SO MUCH!
