Ask:Is anyone attending the Autism Society of America national conference in Arizona this year? And, is anyone from California getting Regional Center to pay for it? Not sure about the Vendor Number.

Answer:We get a lot of assistance from our Reg. Ctr. in the form of referrals, respite care, etc.They’re a tremendously great resource for parents and individuals with special needs. I think I’ll call my case management worker tomorrow and ask her about underwriting my attending the convention. I haven’t been able to attend one since Las Vegas, and I’d love to go to another one. I’ll edit my response tomorrow to let you know what I find out. Hope to see you there!
