How to get financial aid for autistic children’s education
September 17th, 2007Q:My son is autistic and he needs more help than the local school district provides. We live in a small city and there are no other schools designed to help children with autism.
How can i get financial aid for my son to attend a school to help with his autism spectrum disorder?
Answer:
There are federal programs that fund issues such as this. I cannot think of a specific name and I am sorry for that. I would definitely check with social services for that answer. My children were offered speech therapy and occupational therapy at no cost from these types of programs. I know there is something out there that will help.
