Do immunzations cause autism?
September 28th, 2007Pharmaceutical companies stopped producing most childhood vaccines with thimerosal in 2001. Only some influenza doses are still manufactured with a trace amount of the preservative. If they had caused some of the cases of autism, we should be seeing a significant drop about now.
Inspite of anecdotal stories, at least most of the children with autism, developed autism BEFORE 18 months, when the vaccinations take place. There was a study using home old videos taken at first birthday parties & they were able to identify 90% of the kids with autism. If at 12 months, they were already displaying autistic behaviors, the vaccinations couldn’t have caused them.
Another study shows that 20% of the autistic kids develop normally the first year & regress by the 2nd birthday. So it is not impossible that those 20% “got” their autism from the vaccinations.
