Can children with Autism ever be totally cured?
October 1st, 2007The answer is No.Autism has no cure. It’s too complicated for there to be a cure, especially since they aren’t even sure of a cause.
Things that can help some (not all) autistic children handle behavior issues are:
* A gluten-and-caisen free diet
* Trial medications are currently being approved
* Brushing and joint-compression
* Weighted vests/blankets
* Structured routines
* Using PECS picture cards
I look forward to a day when autism can be prevented, rather than being busy finding a cure.
