Parental Approaches to Therapies for Autism Spectrum Disorders
October 2nd, 2007Hello, my name is Dayna and I am a senior at Syosset High School in New York. I am enrolled in our school’s indepedent research program in which we are able to develop our own unique investigation and carry it out. I have an interest in the realm of autism spectrum disorders, and I have experience working with young autistic children in a socialization setting.
My project is titled “Parental Approaches to Therapies for Autism Spectrum Disorders.”
I am very excited about this project, and I hope that you all would be willing to partake in this opportunity. I have an enormous amount of respect for parents who are able to cope with this difficult life obstacle, and my main goal is to help spread information to others who wouldn’t otherwise take notice. I hope that the results of this survey will help to make the public and professionals better understand what families are going through, to in turn provide better comprehensive care for you and your child.
The survey shouldn’t take any longer than 10 minutes or so. All responses will remain anonymous, and the results will be entered into a few competitions.. My purpose is not to win some sum of money off of this, though- I simply want to expand awareness about autism and the families who are affected by it.
The survey is located here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=pJD6Lo63iL8vl9lQo10X_2fg_3d_3d
If you have any questions or comments at all, I can be contacted at droseh@gmail.com.
Thank you very much for your time and cooperation!
