In the clinical reports of mental hospital, there are many cases that children with autism have close relationship with special animal(dogs or cats). The violent tendency of autistic children disappear while they play with the animal. They take care of the pet, feeding them and cleaning up their excrement, like they are the mother of the pet.

Animal treatment can reduce the blood pressure of autistic children and ease symptoms like headache, insomnia. Otherwise, people living with a pet have less lonely feelings. And the companion of animals could promote the foundation of healthy personality of children with autism, including trusting, repecting, contributing, self-confidence, commitment and responsibility. It also can teach children with autism problem-solving skills, decision- making skills, language and social skills.

It is said that autistic children’s thinking style is more likely to the animals than grown-up. So they can communicate without language.
