DMG to help autism symptoms
January 8th, 2008Q: Has anyone heard of or tried using Dmg for your autistic child? I am new to this and have a lot of researching to do. My son who is 5 also just finished treatment for relapsed leukemia and has epilepsy. We are now trying to incorporate different foods into his diet. I am new to this and don’t know what’s good and what’s bad. He does eat a lot of honey nut cheerios and pasta. He also really likes some fruit.
Answer:
Some do think DMG helps autism symptoms.
It sounds like your son mainly eats sugar and starch. Both are poor for general health or fighting autistic behavior. Both fruit and peanut butter made autistic kids worse. Some fruits like pears or golden delicious apples aren’t too bad but many are high in naturally occuring toxins. Also in some people fruit sugars irritate digestion. Peanuts contain many toxins and even many “normal” people don’t tolerate them.
I believe it would be better to use green leafy foods and meats with no additives.
